World Chocolate Day: October 28, 2023

White, milk, dark, and bitter– there are enough types of chocolate to please almost everyone. The world loves chocolate, consuming over 7 billion tons each year. The confectionery has a 4,000-year history and traces its roots to Mesopotamia, where the first cocoa plants were discovered. Chocolate has even been used as a ritual beverage, medication, and currency throughout its history! To celebrate such a storied creation, we put together our favorite recipes which feature chocolate and our favorite chocolatey books to read with your sweet creations.
