Will Library reopens at 9am on Tuesday, April 21

Will Library closed due to an issue with defective electrical equipment. That equipment has since been replaced, passed City of Yonkers electrical inspection, and power has been restored by Con Edison. 

YPL thanks the Mayor's Office, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Buildings and Yonkers Fire Department for their help in resolving this issue. We also thank our patrons for their patience and understanding.

Every Monday we will explore Gel Printmaking and a variety of projects.

Monday Jan. 8: Materials for the Workshop

We will be making a variety of materials for print-making on our gel plate.

You will need:

Glue gun

Silpat or heat-protected surface like parchment paper

Cardboard

Craft Foam

Flat Styrofoam

Sharp knife like an exacto blade

 

Supplies you may need:to have on hand for future workshops:

Gel plate

Brayer

Acrylic paints

Various papers

Collage papers

Glue

Scissors
