The Child Development Institute at Sarah Lawrence College provides children opportunities to create their own play experiences out of recycled and found materials through Community Adventure Play Experiences, or CAPE.

Build something with the Library's legos and put it on display! No registration.

We're celebrating Walt Disney's birthday! Come make a paper Mickey Ear hat, then join us as we parade around the children's room at 2:55 PM. Snacks will be provided while supplies last.

Student tutors from Sarah Lawrence College will read with students, ages 5-12 in the Small People's Place. Parents/Guardians must stay - this is not a drop-off program.

Our annual Christmas ornament workshop is back! Children are invited to make two ornaments - one for our library Christmas tree and one for their Christmas tree at home. Ornaments will be on a first come, first served basis.

Our Sensory Room is on the road! Enjoy the building blocks and other equipment typically only available in the Sensory Room for an hour of free play in the main children's area. Plus, some additional puzzles will be available to try!
